It's the same way you see entire words and instantly know what they mean. Stop and think about how complex a single word is. Look at all the lines and curves and the way they intersect. It took you a long time to decipher what those lines and curves and intersections mean. Now, you take it all in at a glance.
Practice, drill, repeat. Expose yourself to as many "words" in the chess language as you can and until you can instantly decipher everything they mean.
There is no shortcut. The fastest way to do it is to understand what it takes to do it and you don't waste time on snake oil tricks.
How does GMs know what to do once they see a position really quick... well to be more specific what is the reflex though process when assessing a position in low time controls like blitz... How can they see combinations from so far in a small amount of time
I probably cant assess positions at GM level but at least i wanna know how to avoid elementary blunders or blunder combination in 2-3 moves in blitz.. how can you see those kinds of things really fast without thinking..
I may not describe everything about chess reflexes but i think you guys get the idea.. its not just for blitz but to even save thinking in long time controls
How do you get better chess reflexes? What is the fastest way to improve the reflex?
