hello i would like to ask stronger players above 2000 rating (on chess com) how to improve at my level, should i study openings more in depth (people at my rating range usually play some weird moves, for example i try to play dragon sicilian but they do bowdler attack etc.), maybe focus on tactics more? any suggestions?

"should i study openings more in depth" ++ No, that is useless and wastes time & effort

"focus on tactics more?" ++ Yes, analyse your lost games.

Improvement at your level is going to be very individual specific. Most important thing is to identify what is causing you to lose games and fix that.

Opening- only study if you're getting bad middlegame positions. If you're getting solid middlegame positions then this isn't the issue.

Tactics- everyone misses tactics so in theory this can always be improved, still I think grinding only tactics is unlikely to help people that much as tactics flow from position and strategy. You kinda have to finger in the wind judge whether you're missing tactics more than other players around your level or slightly stronger.

Middlegame strategy- most likely deficit, also the hardest to "study", but this is where most people struggle

Endgame strategy- simultaneously the most important and least important part of chess. Being able to grind equal endgames for wins is a huge advantage. Converting won endgames is an essential skill. Swindling bad endgames saves some points, and none of that really matters if you get knocked completely out in the opening or middlegame.
