I got a free rook here, but I played bad positionally that I became worse because I didn’t know what to do and that means that you have to learn stuff that is not only just taking freee pieces.

Its practically almost always a few bad habits that you built throughout your chess career.Its a little tricky to catch upon and most people dont even notice.Go through your games especially losses and pinpoint few concrete things which are ultimately costing you the game.For example maybe you sacrifice unsoundly or you go into bad lines.After that do some work and fix those things.Hope it helps

Probably up and down a lot because 2000 is close to your current level. If you want to improve, then you'll have to investigate your own game and see where your wins and losses are coming from.
