Set your table to a range of 25+ and 25- that way you only playing your current level as you improve so will the level of players you play. Will stop you getting run over by far better players thus crushing your confidence.

Analyse the games that you lost, you will find the pattern. If you've your working very hard in the past two months in the opening focus now in the endgame or vice versa. Don't forget the tactics, solve as many as you can.

I found it is interesting sometime to play against a much stronger player, that happens seldom, normally duaring a tournament... also, important to run “analysis” of your games. You will find a lot of mistakes and blunders... but do not be disappointed about this... most important is to enjoy games and improve world 🌎 by doing this. Cheers.

2 months without improvement? That's terrible!

I think it's a definite sign that chess is not for you.

Chess is for everyone brother.

That's nothing, Deirdre.  I've heard of people who went for as long as three months without improvement of any sort!  The experts were baffled.

Thanks..I wanna play with you some games.

I got stuck at 1400 for awhile. At that level it is all pretty much just about tactics. Do tactic puzzles on here or chess tempo until you can't feel your eyes lol. That's how I got from~1400-1600 in blitz.

Also based on the games I looked at. It might be beneficial to study openings with black. If you're not prepared for what white can throw at you(ie weird gambits or aggressive lines) then it is really hard to play the middle and endgame

There is no need to study weird openings. Worse case scenario you decline an unsound gambit, usually with a better position
