happened to me too, i stopped playing in 2023, decided to return to play the 2026 daily championships, found my account was closed, i couldnt even appeal, had to create a new one, my guess it was a mistake maybe their automated system flagged my account and i took too long to appeal, my guess.
how to not get banned
had my account closed for fair play violations a while ago (did not cheat, at least as far as i can tell) and chess.com denied the appeal. not really too fussed about the ban, just want to know what it could have been that i was doing wrong, so i dont get banned again. thinking it could be something like the recent win %, but i wasnt playing exactly well then, so maybe not. if anyone feels like being helpful, this was the account -
...
any reasons would be appreciated
Beyond what's here, there really isn't any other information available.
