I have a better way to not get checkmated.
You can not get checkmated by resigning one move before your opponent checkmates you.

Or postponing a game indefinitely (applies to over the board games).

I like the idea, and I think your video is very good, I'm just curious whether you think it would be good to include clearing a square.

You had x-ray type of defense, in between move, direct defense, line cutting, and running away, but not clearing a square. Maybe you thought it was too basic, I don't know.
