How to quit a group when you are the only admin?

Make someone else the admin and quit.

Quit the group as you quit normally...

@nimzomalaysian, if I make them admin, it still won't let me. There is no one else in the group I could make SA either.

I don't know anything about groups, but abolish the group?

mromanian...i do not of course know the specifics of your group. however i can relate my experience on this issue. i became a super admin without my knowledge or acceptance. it was curious but meaningless. or so i initialy thought. soon i was being tasked. more than i was willing to devote time and energy on. i tried to untie these restraints. i was notified that i was the only diamond member in my entire country and that no other was then qualified for the position. how rude that these poor sad sacks had no financial means to lessen my burden. oh well. i understand their pain. strange no.

Or you could just stay in the group, and next time you want to create a new group, you can just use this one. You just need to change the name and everything.

Only staff can remove a group.

That's what I did several years ago when the founder of several groups quit the site and left me in charge. After a few months, I was tired of the groups.
