How to start studying endgames?

Hi guys! I started playing chess a few months ago and I really love the game. I have been studying chess fundamentals and solving tactics from time to time, but I think I'm pretty bad at endgames. Most of the time, I just don't know what to do. I'd like to know how to come up with good plans in the endgames. What would you recommend me to start studying endgames?

Basic endgame things to study:

1. Two rooks mate vs lone king

2. Mate with rook and king vs lone king

3. King and lone pawn vs lone king(when it's a win or draw)

4. Opposition

Jeremy Silman says the Lucena Position is the key to king + pawn endings.

I posted several links in the endgame section that will help your quest as well as a strategy to improving your overall rating.

Here's a list of articles I've written on King and pawn endgames that are mandatory MUST knows:

Read one a day, understand the concepts then move onto the next article the next day.  Small doses.  Don't overwhelm yourself all at once.  Like ice cream, too much too soon causes a headache.

Maybe what you meant is key to rook endgames.
