How to stop getting unrated games?

I play 3 day correspondanmce chess and when I start a new game I put in the range of players I want to play. I get so many unrated games which I abort . I don't like unrated games nothing won or lost. How do I advoid unrated games?

Just get them out of your rating a range if that doesnt work just try to ge ahigher rating because then the site will think you are to good for unrateds and not pair you up with them

I think there is also a option in the advanced search settings where you can put a minimum number of played games.

Start a game from here http://www.chess.com/echess/create_game you can set 'Rated' to yes.

I don't know what else to do except block them or abort every time they try to begin a game. I have accepted several unrated games. I can't remember one that ever finished. They lose on time after only a few moves. 

Perhaps they think they are playing live chess and expect very quick responses.
