Well, calculation mainly improves with practice, but there are methods (such as Kotov's) that can help you calculate better. I recommend you search for these, they are great.

Hi, guys hope you were having a great day :) .
My question is the following one : how can you avoid missing things when calculating. Sometimes, for example when calculating a line, I said to myself : My king can (only) go to c7, which is losing, but in reality, my king could capture an hanging pawn on b7, right in front of him !
This kind of thing never happens when I see the board in front of me, but when visualizing it can happen, quite fast. Sometimes, I can consider some moves which aren't legal (because of a pin piece/guarded square...etc), when calculating and this is a bit annoying.
Any tips or advices to give me guys ?
