some of them are copycats
lets not travel there.
Hahaha, it's funny how every time there's a thread about this issue, some small angry pantywaist jumps in that they know the One True Definition of spam, and that this isn't it, and that anyone who disagrees must be an obvious moron. Actually, it can be spam and it is spam. Sorry that saying so makes you mad bro.
"anyone who disagrees must be an obvious moron" I'm glad we got that sorted out. It's not my fault that a select few ignorant boobs like yourself are up in arms over such an insignificant issue. You need to get a life "bro."
Again, interfering with the productive use of this social platform is not an insignificant issue. What is insignificant is the mindless namecalling you favor over rational discussion. But since you don't want, or are incapable, of engaging in logical debate, could you use an insult other than "boob"? It's getting pretty stale. I might suggest, "twit" or "dolt". They're clean enough to keep you out of trouble, and at your going rate should get you through your next hundred or so baseless insults.
Awwww, angry bro is angry. Personally I found him much more entertaining when he was threatening to cancel his subscription.
Be more adorable bro.

Maybe they are hoping a potential mate will look upon their impressive TT score and immediately want to breed with that highly evolved marvel of a specimen.
Lol!
On the subject of keeping your own personal record of TT Scores:-
When you finish a session, go to your performance page, there's a list of the problems you've just attempted with your time, score, etc... You can copy and paste that into Excel and do all kinds of analysis there.
Friend hayabusahayate16 is an expert on spamming as well as on the philosophy of chess.com and who knows what else? ButT ROLLING? PeTROL LINGo? FaTROLL INGenuity?
Try going to learningthemoves page and do that. This insidious one has actually blocked all members from posting to his page. Irony. He still insists that it isn't spam.
I actually get a kick out of Copperhead's comments, sometimes, other times I don't even read them. I've never seen any that were offensive. Maybe I've just missed them.
I am feeling left out. What does this Copperhead actually say?
Usually it's common quotes everyone has heard like "He who hesitates is lost." I usually laugh. I think part of it is that he has this little cartoon of a guy with a copper head as his logo.

Too much. Try reading the first page.

Spamming is about the intention. A harmless post as a reminder on TT comment boards for one's own benefit can hardly be considered spam.
It doesn't matter what you call them, these posts are not harmless. They inhibit the productive analytic discussion of the puzzles for the benefit of the whole community. Several people have mentioned that they abandoned the discussions because there was too much clutter. You have told these people to ignore it, as if that solves the problem, but the fact that they are doing exactly as you suggest is precisely the problem. If you want to keep a record of the puzzles you have attempted, then jot down the id#, time, pass/fail, or whatever else you want in your own domain, and leave the public domain available for those who would like to discuss analysis of the puzzle. And before you cry about how much more diffucult it would be to keep your own notes, and reference them for each individual puzzle; I don't care. If you were resourceful enough to use this training method in a productive way, you should be resourceful enough to devise a manageable way to keep your own notes without interfering with the collaboration of the community as a whole. You're valuing your own convenience over the productivity of the whole communtiy, and you're too short sighted to see that it is a detriment to yourself as well. If the analytical discussions were there for you to reference, maybe you wouldn't have to keep repeating the puzzles.
