The one thing that will destroy your chances to win, the nightmarish BLUNDERS. It happens to the best of us, even GMs and if GMs suffer this malady then us mere mortals have little chance of preventing them. You may say that blunders are a part of the game...you are only human after all, not a machine. True enough, however there are things that can be done to keep most blunders from happening. So the question is, how do you keep the blunders to a minimum?

You will never completely remove blunders from your games but you can keep them at a minimal because at the end of the day, if you continue to blunder your pieces away, you will lose way more games than you should; this may be the single biggest thing killing your ability to improve and get results.
Blunders are an inevitable part of the game but once you learn to blunder less, you will find a new dawn in your game.
