How well does accuracy predict rating?

When a game is analyzed, the engine sends back an accuracy percentage. I'm curious to know if that is a good predictor of rating or not. For instance, my average accuracy in daily chess is 80 (roughly). Could that be used to predict what my rating should be, or are there too many other factors involved?

No, it was designed for use in live chess. Daily chess players have access to many resources (databases, books) not available to over the board players.

At any rate, chess.com hasn't put out anything correlating average accuracy and ratings. They did say you can't just look at one game.

Accuracy is just CAPS renamed and they touted it as better than ratings when it came out.  I am hopeful they will provide an updated assessment of it at some point.
