Huge Andriod premove bug

I'm on Android on a pixel 2. The premove doesn't work when attempting to recapture with bishops and knights (other premoves still work for me(. For example, if I expect the opponent to capture my piece and I try to premove a knight (at a square with my own piece currently in it) to then capture the piece that just took mine, it doesn't work. This works on iOS and desktop. This is one of the most common situations to use a premove and is extremely annoying.
