Huge Rating Increase

Way back in August, I played a few games of 15|10 Standard Chess in the hopes of increasing my rating and to generally get better.
I stopped playing for a while and I logged back into today, played a game and my rating increased pretty dramatically. I was rated 1216 on my last game in August, and after playing a game today, it is now 1378.
Winning the game itself only increased my rating by 17ish (I think). Can anyone explain this?
Has there been a change to the rating system?
