Does it matter if he is expert? He is not charging any money for it, if you do not like the lessons, you can always stop later. How many experts or master do you know that is willing to offer lessons for free?

So what if he is not one? if you are 1400, 1700 is plenty strong to offer you some help, especially if it is free.
I have no idea how strong the OP is, but if I was 1400, i might just be willing to take a peek at his lesson, worst case, I stop taking the lessons if I do not like it.

You've got a good point! However, I'm not really a fan of online lessons... Perhaps that's why I feel this way.

Are you 12 years old? If you are an adult, and there are plenty 1400 adults on this site, I would assume you can decide for yourself if the lessons are worth while.
