I think it is quite common for a "low rated player" to not yet have a very specific goal.

My two cents: first I looked at one of your games and saw the typical problem. You need to work on seeing tactics. Second, the only goal you should have just starting is to have fun. The argument that someone has to be 2000 to coach you is fallacious. You can learn a lot from just reviewing your own games. There is a lot of free help oh here, and I would would start there.
