Yes, but double negatives can also create a condition where it turns from "every action must be here to satisfy the condition" to "only once satisfies the condition."

For example

"for an hour I saw cheese" means you saw it continually for 1 hour.

"for an hour I didn't see no cheese" means you saw at least a little cheese during that hour.

Saying "You can't post here" means you can never post here

"You can't not post here" means all your posts have to be here... and like I said, I not-post here all the time, so he'd lose the bet
