Yea tk...a trained chess eye can spot them a mile a way...
I think "thug tactics" refer to players who play fast and try to intimidate you into cowering with fear and making mistakes. It's also to show off how "good" they think are. Normally the players who do this are 1900-2000 over in blitz. I encounter this a lot on another chess playing site, where the players are a lot less than here, but their player pool is very much "seasoned". Oh, I take pride in knocking these guys out, which I do quite frequently, lol.
I'm better than the players I play against, but they pressure me into making bad moves by going all out on the board after I'm clearly in a winning position, playing hte most aggressive moves possible and getting lucky (...)
Yeah, it happens to me sometimes too. I have a "clearly winning" position and I can't manage to win it because they play good moves.
Then, I go complain on the forums.
Why don't your opponents just play easy moves to react to when you're winning?
Bunch of bullies
Cheap tactics for non-intellectuals. You're the only real chessplayer, everyone else just bends the rules to be better.
I'm better than the players I play against, but they pressure me into making bad moves by going all out on the board after I'm clearly in a winning position, playing hte most aggressive moves possible and getting lucky, when I continue to try to keep the game stable. In 1 minute games they run and play as much defense as possible.
they're not even making good moves
I can beat most of them a piece down, and I actually play better when I lose a piece fast because i don't feel the pressure to beat them.
you can beat them, a pice down.
they only play defence .
and they are not even making good moves.
How the fu'k do you manage to lose? Can It be that they are in fact better than you?

So, sacrifice a piece as soon as possible. Problem solved.
But then he will find that the players are worse than him but only winning because they play 'scared' moves when a piece up.
"Thug tatics" causing your "intellectualism" to lose to inferior opponents... seriously?? I had to look your profile and noted many lost games to easy chess computer. (BTW, My 13 year old son can crush the easy computer mr intellectual) Thinking the problem here is your poor play and lame excuses for it. Try studying and analyzing a bit more.
Because he is always on drugs
