So far I mostly play tactics. Tried a few games but opponent's all timed out quickly. I just realized there are stats for tactics, but don't have a clue what they mean! Any advice is appreciated!

It is unfortunate that your first two opponents in correspondence games timed out. I encourage you to keep trying.

The tactics statistics are too lengthy to copy and paste here. Basically, they just say that you have a tactics rating of 1158 and that you have done a lot of problems in the last two weeks.   Your rating is improving and overall now you have gotten about as many wrong as you have gotten correct.

Here is one section of the stats:

Your average by type of problem is shown.  It appears you are bad at windmill and en passant themed problems.

Do you know what en passant is? lol

Yep - I do know what en passant is, though I had no idea I was bad at it! How were those stats found?? And how the heck do I decipher them? Thanks for the responses!

Those are the V3 stats. It's not hard to decipher them. The ones I posted just show the percent you got correct, by theme.

I don't know what v3 stats are - when I look at stats it is showing me a list of problems and whether or not I solved them. I think my rating, too. There is also a graph at the top. I've been hunting around but don't see anything like the breakdown you posted.

The new version of Chess.com for browsers is called V3. Are you using a browser or a phone app?

'' do you even know what en passant is? lol '' One of the big problems in any game related community is know it alls trying to put people down it's un reasonable.. there's such a passive aggressive tone in that truly not impressed by your attitude @chessofplayer

Anyone who uses iPhone will have poorer than normal record on en passant because you can't easily see the last move made so you don't realize that en passant is an option in the position.
