I don't gain league trophies while playing a friend

Just knew about leagues today, as it was clear in the article you just play the way you did to gain trophies, but I only gained a trophy after winning against a non friend person, with a friend no trophies!

Direct challenges don't qualify for league trophies. Only random challenges and tournaments do.
