Why do we resign a match?

I resign as soon as I believe I don't have a good chance at a draw. Often, I resign poor positions even if material is even, because it's probably, eventually, a lost game. I don't feel like wasting my time, or my opponents

In support but resigning alot of games can lead to ban tooo!
No it doesn't only abandoning or aborting

I don't resign quickly unless I'm tilting, but I never play until the end either unless my opponent is low on time. At my level (2000+) there is a point that if your opponent has enough time they are guaranteed to convert unless they get smacked by a flying wet fish.

Buddy put his puzzle winrate to look good but all his time controls are 50 and under for all time

xD
For me, on my alt my winrate is around 68% (Blitz, around 100 games) and 100% for rapid cuz I played 8 and won 8
On lichess my blitz is around 65% (Nearly 700 games) and 70% for rapid (Nearly 300 games)
As for puzzles, it's only 55% but I have played almost 8000 puzzles just here on this account so I think it's decent.

Good Lord!
Round of applause for that visual.

Feel like giving my opinion here. I usually resign a lot, and I mean a lot. I'd say 80% of my games lost are because of me resigning. I resign if I think the position is out of my hands or my opponent simply has a greater advantage than me. One more situation in which I resign is when the match gets too boring and I am tired.
