I've read the title to this thread several times, and I can only conclude that it was run through Google translate.

Google needs to come up with another translator program, one that translates the translation. Maybe they's why they bought the quantum computer.

im sorry , i didn't think people actually read this, sorry for my english, it seems that everybody speak the language better than i do, what i meant is :  Sometimes i feel that i'm playing against the computer, its like chess.com match you against the computer just to make buy the membership, and the computer acts like really bad manners player, sorry again for my english i know here everybody is perfect and grandmasters

kco

correction: everybody is not perfect and everybody here is not a Grandmaster. But is a nice thought.

Carlos,

Are you saying that people are cheating by using a computer (chess engine) and that they have bad manners?

Estás diciendo que mientras no pagas por membresía, te toca jugar con gente que hace trampa usando un programa de ajedrez y que encima de eso tienen malos modales ?

CRShelton

You think that if you don't buy a membership, chess.com secretly matches you up against computer-operated bots, and they program those bots with bad manners to make you think they are real people?

Why would they do that? Wouldn't people be less likely to purchase a membership if they thought the site was full of poor sportsmanship? There is very little to gain by convincing non-members that the site is a lousy place to play chess.

carlosalberto_98

people is allways cheating, but i think chess.com is cheating, my conspiracy theory is that the program itself acts up , like leaving the game, taking all the time jus for one move, and then since its a computer just beat you up, you cant play multiple games if not a member, your rating never is going up because you lose anyway ,  and then they send you a message like ...want your rating to go up ? use our member tools bla bla bla

kco

Undecided

carlosalberto_98

the thing is you think you are playing a person then is all good , blame the person , but you want probably play multiple games to avoid people that leaves or improve your rating if the computer is beating you your rating is not going up

carlosalberto_98

after a while a non paying member is worth nothing it just take resources

carlosalberto_98

im not blaming my losses on anything, im just saying that after a while they try to tell you that you been long enough without paying, its a bussines after all.
