for how long you've been playing? I think to reach to your level it would take me at least 7 years!!
I played in the 1980s from 81 to 89 then I quit. In the year 2000 I invented my 10x8 variant and played it mostly. So now 8x8 decisions seem easier
10x8 variant? Also if you want to play something new I recommend Shogi.
