I just reached 1900 (admittedly just before dropping 30 rating). What I did was change the way I saw each move. I now focus on how to make my position more straight forward to play and focusing less on what your move immediately does - although you should still do that. You can try gaining space and avoid getting your king in danger.
Also do a lot of puzzles, like at least 40 per day.
