Kinda true but I’m grinding to keep #1 in elite. These guys are chasing me down.

A system which (somewhat) rewards volume of play over win percentage will always become a grind. I do feel leagues should be a side product of your natural play - if the stars align and you get placed in a division that is sufficienty (un)competitive to allow your natural play over the week to promote you.
