That player registered today and your mutual game was the third in their blitz history, hence the huge rating drop as that account just started playing. And I guess you got the maximum possible outcome from a draw against much higher rated opponent
It's so unfair, i thought it would be 30-50
I hope chess.com will get a fairer rating system

I got a challenge from a random person round about 2100 rated (my ELO is 1100) and we played draw by repretition. I was happy because he was much higher rated and hopeful to get a good amount of ELO. I was shocked to see i got only 8 ELO. WHY ?
