Ok, you probably know the Fool's Mate AKA the shortest possible Mate in Chess
And Most of the time it looks like this:
But I had a thought recently:
A gambit is an opening move in which a player makes a sacrifice, typically of a pawn, for the sake of a compensating advantage (Source: Oxford Languages). But this sacrifise could be something more than a pawn. For example the Muzio Gambit where White sacrifices a knight to launch a strong attack on the f7-square.
So my point is that the Fool's Mate is actually a Gambit because you sacrifice the whole game.
I even got a name for it "The Fools Gambit"
