Congratulations, you discovered the Ponziani. When 3...f5!? is playable in an e4 opening you have trouble. I personally like 3...Nf6 with the idea of development preparing ...d5 best (also in case of a queen or major piece endgame the f7-g6-h5 structure remains a realistic possibility and an early ...f5 obviously takes a favorable g+f or e+f vs. f pawn scenario later on for a rook or pawn ending), always open with endgame possibilities in mind)
