i hate bullet chess

This won't work.
When I first played bullet chess, it felt like just moving pieces was the best way.
But you soon realize that bullet chess basically feels as slow as blitz the higher elo you go, meaning you can't win with just moving pieces. You have to actually play well.

This is an unrealistic-expectation without first being at grand-master levels...
i feel like it's within view if you are say idk, 1300+ rapid and are decently fast

If you can't beat random moves then you should be playing longer time controls.

If you're up a lot of material then your opponent can't make a meaningful threat, so you can premove everything. If they're also premoving, then you can break them with checks, for example.

yeah definitely

What an intelligent comment.

bullet chess is bad because you don't take time to calculate and your opponent doesn't punish your mistakes.

it happens to me almost every day. but I only play rapid, so I have enough time to reconnect.

1) Turn on premoves
---
2) Play your first 5 moves without looking at what your opponent is doing... memorize a setup so you don't have to think about the moves. Setups with pawns on the same color as your king are the safest. For example
-
-
2 (continued)
If your opponent is playing passively during the first 5 moves, then continue to play passively up to move 10 without looking at what they're doing. For example...
-
After that you can move forward and attack... but first 5 to 10 moves be super fast and super passive.
---
3) For the rest of the game don't initiate any trades. You can recapture, and you can take a piece if it's free, but don't be the one to exchange anything.
For example what would should you play in the position below?
-
Find a move for white that avoids trading rooks.
-
If running away is too weakening, then you can allow the trade... but make sure they're the ones who capture first.
-
If white runs away black can win the knight.
But find a move for white that is NOT rook takes rook
-
Get in the habit of not initiating exchanges... it confuses people below a certain rating and you'll gain time on the clock.
This advice should be a simple way to boost your bullet performance for anyone below, IDK, 1500 or something.
