I have a problem with clicking atm

Suddenly my hands keep misplacing pieces once in a while or waaay too often like every other game/tactic

When i play some blitz for example i have my queen at d1 and i want to put it to d8 it goes to d7 or d2 due to my misclicking habit..

I lost 50 rating points on chesstempo due to this but i know rating dosent matter but its really a horrible experience to just see the solution of a puzzle and fail 10-20+ times cause you didnt drag your piece far enough ( thankfully this does not happen as much with knights)

Its driving me mad and now i am always scared of making a move.... even if i know my move is so blindly obivous that even a total noob would do it i could still get it wrong cause my piece didnt get dragged far enough even though i felt like i drraged it right -.-

I know this will never be a problem in OTB but its really painful when practicing online

Any tips on how to fix my hands on how to not misclick and not be scared of making a move because you might click it wrong? Ive been playing on chess.com and other chess sites for months and this is the 1st time the misclick habit happened

Click the start square, then the destination square. Don't drag the pieces if it's causing you problems.

Does that work on any site with a online chessboard like chess.com?

What about blitz? That seems too slow for blitz?

Any advice about how to help with my problem in clicking with blitz ( It kinda matters even though its insignificant for players that barely play blitz)

Dont you guys drag pieces too like every time? I dont wanna know i am the only one ( or one of few) that clicks without dragging

I also want advice from a titled player if possible solely because they are probably accurate clickers since some can maintain a high bullet rating because they dont misclick often or barely misclick.

Also the ones that have offered lots of simuls here because they have experience on how to avoid misclicking once they go over another board while playing many games at a time.

Hope i get more useful advice on this.

It should work on most sites(I believe that I haven't seen site without click-and-click, but I've seen sites without drag-n-drop)

To slow - probably not, one click more per move shouldn't take too much time, it might be critical only in bullet like 1|0
