Batman is saying to look for weaknesses in a position. His example of this when White has castled short and has moved the h pawn in front of his King. He is saying that if you can pin White's f pawn to his King with your DSB, that the g3 square which earlier was protected twice, now may not be protected at all. You could use this to land a piece here.
