If that’s your goal, I’d strongly recommend you stop playing bullet chess. There’s no point playing speed chess if you’re trying to improve (blitz is okay) as it’s not helping you think properly and it’s reinforcing bad habits through hundred of games. It’s much better to learn to be good at chess first, and then become fast at chess.

And as if to humble me and remind us all that I'm a human being, I've managed to lose about 100 rating points in two weeks. Nice going, Adam.

The ponziani might start to falter for you though, most people around this rating range will play d5 after c3 and have a better position out of the opening.

My winrate against the d5 line is 58% / 11% / 31% - I know the lines pretty well and you’d be surprised how many players even at our level (using that term even though you’re stronger - forgive me) don’t know it well still. It’s not my only white opening that I know, though, so will bear in mind if I struggle in the future that switching it up is not a bad plan
