I just don't understand!

I just don't understand how I can solve puzzles at a 2250 rating and usually play at a 1500-1700 level, yet I continually lose to 1100-1250 players who play with an accuracy of 85-95 and use almost no time on their clocks. A couple days ago, I played an 1150 who beat me after 50 moves, using almost no time on his clock and played at a 2350 level   How can my Lichess rating be 500 points higher than my chess.com rating. What am I overlooking?

Although I’ve never been on Lichess before, I have heard that your Lichess rating, is 500 less than your Chess.com one.

Everything that you’re saying here makes perfect sense. Lichess rating is always ~500 more than chess.com, the elo estimate feature always estimated too high on average, pay no attention to features like that, and yes your opponents will have good games, in fact it’s pretty easy to get a 2150 estimated elo if it’s a simple game where your opponent just gives you an easy time. 2250 puzzles is also a bit weak for a 1200 player I think, or around average, it is not meant to be the same as your rating

Your puzzles rating has no context with your playing rating. For example, i am 2100 rapid and 3200 in puzzles which is higher number then Carlseńs rapid rating. Also it is important if you see tactics not only for you, but also for your opponent.
