You might try going to http://www.chess.com/home/alerts.html and then unchecking the box for group alerts and then saving the changes.
I left a couple of groups ,but still getting alerts!??

Hi all, could anyone please tell me how i cancel the alert to new comments in two vote chess games that i played in? i have now left the 2 groups, but everytime i log in, its still there that i have 7 unread comments in 1 and 2 unread comments in the other! these comments will always be unread, as i can no longer view them, so will the 'new comment' alert stay there for ever??
