I Made Stockfish play itself!

exactly. the engine is programmed to squeeze out its opponent's space to deliver a close up checkmate.

no, i mean if you hold the space key in a chess position, it will play the best move, meaning that you can automate this.

So what ?
Are you somehow believing you are the first one who did that ?
By the way if you do it at maximum power it usually will result in a draw.

I am not the first, I saw a YT video. I put it at maximum but each of its moves were made once the computer had generated a main line, so it blundered once or twice.

oh. that's exactly what i did.
Ending score: -
Stockfish makes white win most of the time.
Interesting, but you don't say what the time or depth controls were.
I've tried it with various versions up to 15.1 with time control 40/120 repeating on a fairly low
performance desktop and it invariable drew with itself.
My version of SF17 evaluates your "blunder" in the first game as top move for < 10s after which it sinks to 3rd. place by the time I stopped looking, so you probably used a quick time control. SF14 for example does the same.
If you use a reasonabe time control I believe you'll actually get mostly or all draws.

no its this game that has a 5 that was made 15 years ago and the sixth one is coming out this year and everyone makes memes about it

there was no time control. this was in analysis. If you know a way to actually make stockfish play itself, please let me know.
