He was later seen with some other lady. She was called Wendy...
I thought he was with some French....

Can anyone remember what the pumpkinhead hate the most on the forum ?
he doesn't believe in the 10k hours thingy.

He was later seen with some other lady. She was called Wendy...
Which Wendy? The daughter of the founder, who looks as if she grew up eating nothing but Wendy's fast food 4-5 times a day, or that younger, perky to the point of annoying lady who replaced "Big Bertha"?

Yeah. He was quite active in the forums when I first joined. Pleasant personality and great sense of humor.
As weak at chess as I am now, I remember posting a game I won back when I was even more of a beginner and he posted something positive about it like,
"And black generously donates his king to a good cause" as an annotation/comment.
I remember thinking this guy being a titled player (master) and all, could have posted how incredibly weak it was and the opponent even weaker like some of the others did when weaker players posted their wins, but instead of stooping to the levels of those pinheads, he was encouraging and supporting instead.
Fond chess.com forum memory
I, too, miss AndyClifton.
I think it was his sense of humor combined with the almost puppet-like face (no offense intended Andy) that made him so endearing.

I've seen his real face. The puppet is an improvement.
Is that you making fun of yourself Andy ?

Ah yeah, Andy Cliffton.
He was an International Master according to some thread
National Master

He gets taller and funnier all the time.

you kidding me? I am sure he is an NM National Master !

According to what I found on USCF's site, Andy hadn't played since 1990 and hadn't had an official rating since 1991. I guess the USCF gets rid of your records once you've been inactive for too long.

or rather the USCF just didn't care to include the old results when they went to their current system.
