I just recently started getting into playing chess again and i am looking to do some studying. Not sure how to go about it though. I do the chess mentor and tactics trainer. I would like to study out of a book. Any recommendations or comments?

Thanks

Will

i also just got into chess, around august, i would recommend simple chess by michael stean for strategy, it's a really well annotated collection of games, and very instructive.

it would also be a good idea to get some kind of tactics book like back to basics: tactics by dan heisman or learn chess tactics by john nunn, or the big polgar tactics book or something like that.

playing through annotated collections of master games is good too, alekhine's best games is really good, there are tons of others.
