I need a strategy to get by people who play weird openings and somehow win

I’ve played people and they usually play normal openings, but when someone plays something weird… idk what to do.

understand opening principles and understand he ideas in your opening well. Most weird moves in the openign are bad so if you understand why moves are played you will be able to identify how to punish the weird moves.

At your level openings don't decide your games. Follow opening principles and you'll be fine.
