I was a beginner, so I didn't mind trying long time controls... but remember most tables had a feature where if you took longer than 10 minutes on a move you'd lose.
So some people would setup untimed tables, then if they started to lose, would make a move every 9.5 minutes... one guy like this I setup the position in Fritz so I could play the fastest mate... the game lasted another hour, but I won

Also I believe OpeningMaster33 was trying to make it obvious by choosing another avatar/photo with a person missing teeth - again.
It's a game to him, to see how obvious he can make it, while still managing to fool seaturtle.

Hi , try playing Vs. comp. , work on end games . You can try play "blocker" - thats takes those opponents out mad. Sometimes i see those opponents on 3min games , 10-6 sec to do a clear move - i resign and go to next game. For quick board calcu' practice (Eye - board- move ) - try 1min - dont mind if you lose , when you go back to 3,5,10 min you will get it .Add friends , play Vs. Them .Cya

Part of chess is patience. There are thousands of different types of player and if they use a style you don't like then you could resign that game? Or play a different style of chess I.e. bullet, blitz, rapid or daily. I learnt chess as my father used to go to a chess club and taught me. He always beat me. Then I started reading books starting with beginner books then openings books then strategy, middle game etc. I come across players that don't follow the general rule of "don't bring your queen out too early " and often they throw me off and beat me and sometimes I manage to punish them but I never get down about losing a game. I just add it to experience and move on to the next game. But like I say if you are not enjoying a game just resign but try not take it so seriously.

in conclusion. im completely stuck and i dont know what to do, im trying to have fun but my oppoments are not. they try to force some boring system or try to exchange everything or play dubiously. nobody online says how the heck you are supposed to punish this and the most they say is ¨play normall chess¨, which does not really say much, im playing much worse than what i really am because of low motivation, i know that when i go for a game i will play ¨AIEHENSJPO19181¨ from india who will either try to exchange everything and play like an ideot, or he will autopilot an opening and try to try everything/ hope i mess up
