i need help

Im a new player well to this site at least and ive never played against these people that are higher than me what do i do?

When you create your own challenge in live chess, you can enter the Min/Max ratings of the person you want to play against.

Or click on the Challenges tab, then look underneath it to where it says "Seek Filter". Click on the seek filter and enter the Min/Max rating in there and save. This will then only show the challenges of those within the ratings you're looking to play.

Stop playing high?

Any player who wants to get better, including many players who are already strong, constantly seek out stronger players.  The only way to stay sharp and get better is to lose games to tough opponents.  Not impossibly strong opponents... it's good to seek players rated 100-200 points higher than yourself.

If you never play anyone lower though you may forget how to win a won game :)  so mix it up, but be sure you're losing a good amount of games to higher players.  If you only ever win and face easy players, it will only actually make you worse.

So the moral is don't be afraid to face tough players.  The strong players are the ones who have lost thousands of games and continue to do so often.  The best players have lost tens of thousands... you get the idea :)

I'm curious as to why you resigned so quickly, don't be afraid to lose. It's how you learn.

There might be a few draws playing on this site but how to find them might be quite difficult.I know that He Pingpen just died today while visiting Rome he was the shortest in the world only 29.53 inches but I don't know if he played chess.
