Hi ! This year ( 2025-2026 ) will be my last year in my school chess club. I've been attending for 9 years and I've never won the championship. I'd like to win it this year. Last year, I came in 5th. So I have a year to improve and I need tips to improve quickly. Thanks

You should go over every game you play afterwards to figure out why you lost and what better moves you could have tried.
In the last game you lost:
You lost your queen on move 15 because you ignored your opponent's move.
After that, you were already losing but your move 21..Re8 brought about a swift end.
What was the purpose of your opponents last move 21 Ng5 ?
Did you think about the danger to your king?
What would have been a better move than 21..Re8?
Did you have any pieces not yet in the game? Was there any way to chase the knight away?
In order to get better, you have to start thinking about what your opponent is trying to do and what you can do.
If you take the time to really analyze your games afterwards, the questions you ask and answer will help you in your next games.
It won't happen all at once but will happen if you repeatedly apply yourself.

The other problem you have is that your opponents will not be standing still.. Are any of the top players active on chess.com or lichess? You should try to find out.
