If you have such short notice for a tournament, then just play what you feel best with. You can't learn something completely new in like one day (Grandmasters maybe gist of it, but other players learning from scratch is no).

At her rating range, the grob would be a phenomenal choice. It was used by the world-class player Claude Bloodgood.
