Now hear me out:
As of lately I have been having an opening crisis.
From 1200 to 1800 I have relied on hypermodern openings (with exception to QID). I have played the Alekhine's defense, many booked up lines on the Pirc and the King's Indian defense. I could literally file a lawsuit for rape with how times I got raped by pawnstorms. Now most of the times I can neutralise a pawnstorm but I'm getting sick of doing it. I also want to start playing e4 more often, since the current ratio to it as opposed to d4 is 50:1.
So...
I want to play principled/solid openings that fight for the center on move 1.

I'm don't know which solid openings (that fight for the center on move 1) to choose for 1.e4 and in reply to 1.e4. note: do not recommend Sicillian cause it makes me feel sick to my stomach (dunno why).
I will be severely limiting how many times I play 1.d4 and any hypermodern defense as black.
Suggest away all the principled openings for 1.e4 and for black 1.e5, and I will pick 1 for each. Thank you
