2+ years and 1700 blitz games is not much at all. But you are falling on hole as many like you. They play too casual, not enough, on ipad you get easy distracted, they don't analyze games, they don't "waste" their time watching videos or reading book. Only play. Which is good for a beginner to get quick experience after few hundreds games, but then you should have started to study. I have played thousands of bullet and less blitz games and even less rapid and slow games and i improved ~500 points quickly, but spent a lot on chess for last 2 years - mostly watching youtube videos - tons of them and reading some stuff and tactics training.
I PLAYED OVER 1700 GAMES IN BLITZ, YET MY RATING IS STILL AT 900.

Sadly I often then play a pile of Blitz games and get weaker again!
You can still find improvement from playing blitz games—just need to spend time reviewing each one afterward, to find improvements.
That way, even your blitz games turn into learning lessons. :)

In addition to everyone else's advice, I find that the online/daily/correspondence games are extremely helpful for one who wants to learn. You have (virtually) no time limit to try to employ all of the chess understanding you have to each move, getting you past most obvious blunders into places where more strategic and positional choices determine the game, helping you to see more so how those come into play.
You can play as many games simultaneously as you have time to handle...

Where do you live? Maybe we can train together.
The best thing to do is to get proper training with someone.
