chess is like sex, you slow down in time.. but no need to be mad at yourself.. it's way of life. always there is something in chess for everyone. just find what suits you fine.. and enjoy.
I really, really hate fast time controls.

May try some 15+10 at some point & see how that works for me. Have seen quite a few people recommend it. No harm in trying a couple games I suppose.
I think you will enjoy that. Plenty of time to think through the moves and not feel rushed.
there is definitely something fishy going on on this site, cause you are at certain level, and you play people with similar rating, but, you feel when you are being outplayed by a person, like real person, you make mistakes, your opponent makes a mistake and inaccurcies here and there, but you feel when you made a mistake and lose a game, but it goes like 50/50, some, more than comfortable, and you feel like you're not facing a person, a real human being playing, cause you got, say, very tight position, or a complex postion, and there you have it, you make a slight inaccuracy and you get punished in seconds, your position collapses instantly, and your opponent makes all the moves in seconds, top engine lines, like i dont mind being outplayed, but many times it does feel like you are not against a human, but i guess this is the new reality and if someone gets a thrill from not playing himself, i guess it is fine, you can still learn from it after the game by analyzing your game
My employer receives a government subsidy because I am allergic to work pressure,
Can this game also take my handicap into account by not using that clock?

No!

Cheating by manipulation of clock is rampant
I think there's just issues with the chess.com servers. For instance, quite a lot of the time it won't let me play a move just before the time control. It's happened too often for it to be something on my side.

do you know what periods are?
also skill issue, people don't cheat at 800-1000; and if they did, they're absolutely horrible at cheating.

people absolutely cheat at any level, it is just part of the game these days, it has evolved to a point where they just peak at engine at moments they are in trouble, or dont know what to do, this has been discussed over and over again

In 5 minute chess, if you're playing well you'll still beat them. None of my opponents have been found cheating recently. Even if they're found, they say they'll give you the points back but they don't. I stopped complaining about that ages ago.

I believe playing blitz time controls only makes sense for very advanced players, at least Class A (1800+ rating). Everyone else is wasting their time and not learning a thing playing blitz. But for titled players, blitz is of course the best tc for online casual play.
And bullet, well that’s for GMs to have some laughs, essentially.
I agree about bullet completely. But I played blitz before I became stronger and it helped because you need to be able to blitz accurately if you're down on time in slowplay.
I find fast controls useful for me because I was developing a tendency to be indecisive, now I no longer play competitively over the board. Obviously not bullet, because that's just a competition to see whose mouse runs the faster and it has zero benefit for serious players.
