I saw the light

I have run my November and December rapid games through stockfish, 48 games. I checked eval drops bigger then 3., 77 drops on my side (I only looked at my own moves, a problem in itself, I know). Finally I gave those 77 moves a closer look, tried to understand what happened and labelled them.

The result is probably not surprising for higher rated players but it is for me, even a bit shocking.

  • My openings are good, around move 12 I almost always have slight edge or more;
  • Almost all games were decided by relatively simple tactics that changed the game completely;
  • I thought I was over the ‘hanging pieces’ level, but I am not.

(for some reason on PC the list is right under this message but on mobile you have to scroll down down down.... Sorry).
