I think am under rated
The number of points you gain or lose in a single game depends on:
1) the differential between your rating and your opponent's rating.
2) your RD, which will be small if you play often or large if you play only occasionally.
I had taken a three year break from rated chess games (while I worked at a real job), and when I came back to chess.com my RD was over 200 and my first rated win gave me +108 points.
When youre losing to 1100-1200-1300 players it even out.
You have to admit, this is a funny answer. IMBacon, you may have made my day (or at least got a chuckle).
As for a serious response to the original post: maybe you are in fact under-rated: after silly blunders or internet issues, I feel that way often as well. Luckily, you are paired with "weaker" players and you should reach your "true" rating given time, if you really are of that ability.

I honestly wasn't trying to be condescending to the OP, i was simply being honest.
The OP has not beaten a single 1900 player. And anyone can "think" they play at a certain skill level, but someones daily rating is going to be a close approximation of someones ability.
