Here is the newest design for the chancellor piece. It's resembles a rook just stronger. Adjacent to the queen's height.

Classical chess is humdrum (lack of variety) monotonous and very repetitious. Variants with new pieces solves this issue.
A new piece, in ten years, will have been analyzed to death by some engine or robot, just like the rest of the game. New rules might add a month or so to that. If you want real change, a ban on chess engine manufacturing, use, or ownership would be the way to go, that way humans could innovate again instead of relying on Google's latest AI gadget to think for them.

As for the Mona Lisa... i have seen... what is one of the most overrated piece of junk ever painted. And this was opinion of the huge majority there... very disappointing.

I like goth chess more than gothic chess- people in black trench coats with their nails painted black and fingerless gloves sitting at the board while listening to sisters of mercy is much more entertaining than an 8x10 board and a couple new pieces.
