I think I just played the best game I've ever played

this is the game(in my opinion at least) that's closest to what I saw of gm games that I've ever played. criticism and opinions are welcome(I know I blundered a lot)

Nice game and a good example of the maxim that the player who gives away the fewest pieces wins. You didn't keep your pieces as overprotected as some might like, but you dynamically kept those you left unprotected from staying that way for long.

Thanks for the complement. I tried to grab as much space from my apponent after I got the chance with d4 and he kind of choked to death. Ps my pawn sack on g7 was completely involuntary(though it  looked pretty cool afterwards)

How do we know who's white and who's black? I'm not sure if that's something with that has to do with the iOS app, but at the top of the posted game it says X vs. Y, but I never know who's the first name in the game, and what colour the second name is. Is there a rule?

I think I could've played better but the game at least looks high levelled and I'm satisfied with that

my opponent did allow me to do a lot of cool looking positional stuff

Great game, JC!  It was almost Karpovian, because after move 10 or so, you kept all his pieces passive and inactive, especially compared to your own.  Even your mistake on g7 wasn't that bad, because the Bishop soon retreated to the pathetic e1 square and you got counter-play on the g-file.

Winning a game like this feels awesome, and you should justifiably be proud of your efforts.  Good game!

thanks. though I think my opponent didn't know that much about positional chess and allowed me to do things he shouldn't have allowed, like at the critical d4 push where he could have played Ne4.
